Marilyn Banner, BA,  MS.Ed, mixed-media artist, has over twenty years of teaching experience.  She is a founding director of  "Musica Viva"

Ami Perleman, BA, painter, has taught children's art classes for ten years.

Renee Lachman, BA (painting and drawing, Philadelphia College of Art), MFA.(painting, George Washington University), is an adjunct professor, at Montgomery College, Takoma/Silver Spring campus. She has taught Drawing classes at Montgomery College since the fall of 2006.

Stephanie Sove Ney, BFA, MFA, portrait painter, has taught art to developmentally disabled adults for eleven years and has been awarded grants for her work with teens-at-risk.

Fritzie Seidler, mixed-media artist and teacher, believes "there are no mistakes in art -- only design opportunities."

Alice Sims, BA, MFA, has taught art for thirty years and is a recipient of state and county grants.

Laurie Stepp, BFA, interdisciplinary artist, digital designer and teacher.

All workshops, projects and classes have the advantage of being facilitated by a team of at least two teachers.   This gives AFTP's teachers more opportunity to build a rapport with each student, and to offer individualized instruction and encouragement.
